Population: 47,000 (37% dwarf, 20% human, 18% halfling, 10% elf, 7% gnome, 5% half-elf, 3% half-orc)

The chief port of the island of Athos, Aranova prospered during the height of the Old Rolando Republic but it has since diminished to a city that no longer values traditions that founded the city. Founded by the dwarven brothers, Eldrin and Orsmar, the city’s architecture is unlike any other in the known world and even has sprung the legend that Eldrin himself carved the city by punching out the coastal mountains of Athos, though that may be a bit of an exaggeration. The cities close ties with the Stonefist Monks, an masonic order dedicated to values of the gods Tymora, Waukeen, and Gond, have made the city into the center of commerce on the island. Currently under the lordship of Travok Battlehammer, the cities local economy has been hit hard with the loss of one of their most cherished mines, The Battlehammer Mine, to a colony of goblins that have since taken up residence there.
